We are negotiating a trip that will be in Trondheimsfjorden (The Trondheim Fjord) and possible in Nidelva (The Nid river). To peak you interest below are a selection of photos of the river and the fjord.

Munkholmen (Monk’s islet) is the name of a small island just outside the city of Trondheim. The island holds a rich history, being a former execution ground, monastery, prison, fortress and defence station during World War II. Today the island is a popular hangout site and bathing spot both for locals and tourists in summer time.
