Task 5.2 : Mechanical design of the prototype

The major objective of this project activity is to develop a mechanical design of the prototype turbine.

This activity will be done together with WP 4.1. The researcher will support the FSI analysis of the new design of the turbine in WP 2. Apart from the mechanical design of the runner and guide vanes, this activity will also include the design of other components such as covers, bearing blocks, labyrinth seals etc.
