Instructions for Presenters

Symposia

Symposia consist of four presentations around a specific topic. The duration of each presentation will be 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.

Open Talks

The duration of the open talks will be 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions. Equipment for symposia and open talks: The conference organizers will provide a Windows laptop computer. Presenters should load their presentations to one of these computers prior to the scheduled presentation time. USB memory sticks will be available for this. Alternatively, presenters can also bring their own laptop computer and connector and, with the assistance of the staff, ensure a working connection between the computer and the projector well ahead before the scheduled presentation.

Posters

The Poster Book will also this year be published online as a single PDF document, containing the final versions of posters presented at ICPA2024 Trondheim. The Poster Book will be made publicly available on the ISEP website after the conclusion of the conference. Posters can be cited as publications in “Studies in Perception and Action XVII”. For your poster to be included in the poster session and poster book, you must register for the conference.

The posters must be upright to be included in the poster book and to properly fit the poster stands. Maximum dimensions for posters are 130 cm high x 95 cm wide (upright). The standard paper size that is closest to these measurements is A0 (118.9 cm high x 84.1 cm wide). Velcro will be provided to hold posters on stands. After poster acceptance, presenters should submit the final version of the poster in a JPG or PDF format by June 1st, 2024. The JPG or PDF version sent should be the same as the one to be presented in the poster session. Poster presenters will be assigned both a presentation day and a poster number. On the day of the presentation, presenters should look for the corresponding number on the poster stands.
