Sofia Perez-Simbor

Sofia Perez-Simbor

Sofia Perez-Simbor was born in Valencia, Spain. She received the M. Sc. Degree in Telecommunication engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, in 2016. She joined the Erasmus program during the year 2014 - 2015 in the Vienna University of Technology, Vienna (Austria). Moreover, she was a special research student in MIE University, Tsu (Japan), where she realized her Master Thesis on mobile communications, during the academic year 2015- 2016. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (ITeAM) of the UPV. Besides, she is a fellow under the European Project: Wireless In-Body Environment Communications (WIBEC). Her research topic is the channel characterization for in-body communications, focused on the Ultra-Wide Band frequency band.
