Services

At CMIC ALM we offer a variety of services spanning the entire microscopy sample life cycle, starting from preparation and finishing with data extraction and analysis.

We offer comprehensive training on all our microscope systems to ensure users can operate the equipment independently.

Training begins with a 2-hour theoretical introductory course covering essential microscopy concepts, providing all users with a solid and uniform knowledge base.

Afterwards, we conduct a 3-hour practical session where users receive hands-on experience with the microscopes. After completing both sessions, users are permitted to operate the microscopes independently during regular hours, with our staff available to assess their proficiency and offer assistance as needed.

Once users demonstrate full independence, they will be granted access to the microscopes during after-hours and weekends. Please note that training services have an associated cost, which can be found on our pricing page.

If you don’t have the time to acquire your data or have a limited number of samples that doesn’t justify undergoing full training, our experienced microscopists can acquire your data for you. We will select the microscope that best suits your specific needs, ensuring high-quality and reproducible results you can trust.

Get in touch with us to discuss your sample size and requirements, so we can estimate the time needed for acquisition. This service is billed at an hourly rate according to our technical assistance prices, which can be found on our pricing page.

Acquiring high-quality images is only the first step—extracting meaningful information in an unbiased and reproducible way is equally important. Our team offers customized image analysis pipelines using Python and cutting-edge tools, including deep learning and machine learning techniques.

We encourage you to contact us to discuss your analysis needs, ideally before imaging, so we can recommend the best imaging modality based on your data and the analysis you aim to perform. All our analysis pipelines follow FAIR principles, are well-documented, and made available in public repositories, allowing you to easily reference them in the Materials and Methods section of your publications.

As with our other services, image analysis has an associated cost. Pricing is determined on an individual basis depending on the complexity and scope of the project. For a general idea of our rates, please visit our pricing page.
