The NTNU Library offer many courses (both physical and digital) and help/guidance for single persons and groups. A list of our courses can be found in the course calendar.
The Medicine and Health Library in Trondheim, The Gjøvik Library and The Ålesund Library offers help and guidance from librarians with experience in the medicine and health disciplines. We can offer tailored courses in structured literature searching, using different databases and reference management tools (EndNote, Zotero). The Medicine and Health Library is in charge of the obligatory PhD-course SMED8007 – Scientific publishing and research communication (5 SP).
All local courses this semester are in Norwegian. Check the Norwegian Subject Page for a list. There are several English language courses each semester in The Virtual Library.
Contact us using email (post@bmh.ntnu.no) or phone (73 59 53 00) if you as a teacher want to have tailored lectures from the library integrated in your lessons.
We offer several smaller and larger courses/lectures for groups and students belonging to The Faculty for Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Olavs Hospital and the other hospitals in The Central Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse-Midt) - where anbd when it is best for the participants.
We recommend to book a course/lecture early as we are busy in periods.
We can not provide personal training in EndNote (join our courses or use our EndNote guide).
