Data processing by CoMEM:
- How are your data processed by CoMEM? CoMEM collects personal information exclusively to the extent necessary to select the candidates. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. To whom your information is disclosed: CoMEM will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose identified above, or if we are obliged to provide the data in accordance with law. CoMEM will not divulge your personal data for direct marketing purposes. If you are selected (proposed for a scholarship, put on the reserve list, or enrolled on a self paying basis) your data may be used for the purposes of evaluating the Erasmus Mundus Programme and will be made available to the Agency, the EM National Structures, the EU Delegations and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association, acting as stakeholders of the programme.
- How you can access your information, verify its accuracy and, if necessary, correct it? As a data subject you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on legitimate compelling grounds except when it is collected in order to comply with a legal obligation, or is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or is to be used for a purpose for which you have given your unambiguous consent.
- How long is your data kept? CoMEM only keeps the data for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose of collection or further processing. Security measures are taken to safeguard your information against potential misuse or unauthorised access.

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), in the context of managing the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, collects and processes the personal data of some of the candidates. In particular, certain data of the scholarship holders and non-scholarship holders is shared with the Agency and treated according to this privacy statement.
