About the department

About the department

Developing quality is a collective project; ISL therefore aims to stimulate a culture of collaboration and sharing of experiences.

The Department of Language and Literature has approximately 150 academic and administrative staff. 

ISL´s management team consist of Head of department, Deputy head of education, Deputy head of research, Head of office in addition to five of the department’s heads of study programmes as well as one head of section. 

The department has an extended management team, which acts as a participatory body.
