The venue for the symposium is Holmen Fjordhotell in Asker, 20 kilometres west of Oslo. Holmen Fjordhotell sits in quiet surroundings overlooking the Oslo fjord. 

The Airport express train runs from Oslo airport to Asker every 20 minutes and takes 45 minutes. The hotel is five kilometres from the train station. Local buses run every 10 minutes, and there is a taxi rank at the station.
