Data collection

The Concept research programme collects data from all public investment projects that have undergone QA1 and/or QA2. To date, we have data from more than 300 quality assurance reports in our database. Relevant data from these projects include:

  • QA1 reports
  • Documents prepared by a ministry or agency as a basis for QA1 (benefit-cost analysis, etc.)
  • QA2 reports
  • Documents prepared by a ministry or agency as basis for QA2 (steering document, cost estimate, etc.)
  • Termination reports
  • Experience reports
  • Evaluation reports

All data are collected in an electronic archive that is made available through the database Trailbase. QA-reports are also available from here. Evaluation reports are available here, but also summarised and presented here.

Researchers outside the Concept research programme and other interested parties may also be given access to the database.
