Theme user group for operations and management
Through 2021, the theme user group for operations and management has worked on describing the operation and management functions that must be addressed in NTNUs unified campus. They have described general guidelines and objectives for, priorities in and location of management and operation functions in NTNU, where buildings, outbuildings and infrastructure are seen in context. The work provide guidelines for the following programming in NTNUs unified campus, and guidelines for other construction and rehabilitation projects at NTNU.

The work of the theme user group for operations and management
The thematic user groups are based on NTNU's area concept and have specified and clarified the concepts further, resulting in guidelines for the construction project for NTNU´s unified campus and other construction and rehabilitation projects at NTNU.
Working group for technical programming and operations
A separate workgroup for technical programming is linked to the theme user group. The workgroup has consisted of professional resources on special technical subjects and has contributed with knowledge to the construction and user equipment project and an overall and strategic grip, in accordance with the operation and management, energy concept and technical infrastructure.

The work of the thematic user groups has been within NTNU's guidelines in the premise documents; Area concepts for NTNU, Principle plan, Location of academic functions, Quality requirements for buildings and outdoors and OFP report for the project NTNU’s unified campus.
The final wording of the principles, as stated in the Rector's decision, has been adjusted on the basis of feedback from the processing of draft decisions in the rectorate, dean meeting, AMU and SESAM.
