  •   Center for Research-based Innovation -- Center for Geophysical Forcasting (CGF) (2020-2026+) .

The project will fund 4 IDI PhD student, of which 3 are to be advised by Elster, plus 1 joiont Post Doc with Prof Ole Jakob Mengshoel. Elster´s Master students Maren Wessel-Bert is already working on this project together with CGF-collaborator Prof. Børge Arntsen, Geophysics. 

 
  • Research Council of Norway (NFR) FRINATEk Project with Prof. Dag Breiby from NTNU project on Computational and experimental framework for time resolved X-ray tomography

Project Leader: Prof. Dag Breiby (NTNU). Consortium Partners: Prof. M. Nadeem Akram(USN, Norway),  Prof. Anne Elster (NTNU), Dr. Andreas Menzel (PSI, Switzerland), Prof. Alain Gibaud (Le Mans University, France)

This project is part of Dr. Breiby´s X-Ray Physics group: https://www.ntnu.edu/physics/research/x-ray

The project funds one IDI PostDoc to be advised by Elster. Elster´s Master students Martin Havdal and Anders Treland have already contrinuted to the project. Currently master student Øystein Krogstie is continuing work on parallelizing codes for this project.
 
  • Advanced Research Equipment grant (AVIT)  for project Tensor-based GPU Reseach Infrastructure for Machine Learning and HPC. (NVIDIA DGX2)

           Funded in 2018 by NTNU IE and IDI to purchase an NVIDIA DGX2 system + 3-yr support.

           Budget: NOK 3.5mill +. Elster is main PI, several co-PIs, including Assoc. Prof. Kerstin Bach.

  • EU H2020 MSCA-IF Post Doc project TICOH funded 2017-2018   Project ID: 752321. Project with and for Dr. Weifeng Liu, Prof. Anne C. Elster was PI.
 
  • EU H2020 project CloudLighting (2015-2018). Elster was co-PI and Workpackage leader. NTNU was host of the CloudLightning Testbed and funded two Post Docs ++ at NTNU. She also organized and hosted the Jan 2018 Workshop at NTNU, See also https://cloudlightning.eu/  and https://www.ntnu.edu/idi/hpc-lab/cl-hpc-2018.
