Join us for the 3rd edition of Biocarbon in metallurgy. This year’s theme is: Production & use: are we ready for 2030?

Industry and research representatives meet here to discuss the current status and latest developments on availability, production, quality and use of renewable biogenic feedstock as low-emission reductants in the metallurgical industry.

The third edition of Biocarbon in Metallurgy connects researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders involved in biomass production (including biochar, biocarbon, and charcoal), metal processing and conventional carbon reductants to explore the current state and recent advancements in technology, science, markets, and policy.

Biocarbon in Metallurgy 2025 provides an excellent opportunity for fruitful discussions, for learning about current market expectations, and establishing new business relationships.

Specific topics include the potential availability of renewable biogenic matter as a raw material for the manufacturing of low-emission reductants, their quality, as well as technical issues related to their industrial production.
