About us

FME ZeMe is a collaborative interdisciplinary research centre. The industry partners, universities and research organisations work together to develop the fundamental knowledge and technologies needed by the Norwegian metallurgical industry to become climate neutral by 2050.

The centre includes 11 industry partners, 2 international research partners, and 3 university and research organisations. We actively collaborate with projects, centres and stakeholders in Norway, Europe and globally.

FME ZeMe is funded by the Research Council of Norway under the FME program for Centre for Environment-friendly Energy Research.
