FME ZeMe kick-off meeting

FME ZeMe’s official opening event is here. The partners and invited guests will have a day full of inspiring presentations and ample networking opportunities.

The opening session includes contributions from NTNU rector Tor Grande, SINTEF CEO Alexandra Bech Gjørv, NORCE’s Stian Anfinsen, and Anita Fossdal (Enova) and the Research Council of Norway.

Next, we focus on what is needed for making the zero-emission transformation in the metal processing industry happen. Speakers from the industry partners , Prosess21, EU Innovation fund and Altor give their views.

In the afternoon each research area presents its objectives and activities for 2025.

The days before and after are dedicated to workshops focused on specific research topics.

Join us for the 3rd edition of Biocarbon in metallurgy. This year’s theme is: Production & use: are we ready for 2030?

Industry and research representatives meet here to discuss the current status and latest developments on availability, production, quality and use of renewable biogenic feedstock as low-emission reductants in the metallurgical industry.

Biocarbon in Metallurgy 2025 provides an excellent opportunity for fruitful discussions, for learning about current market expectations, and establishing new business relationships.
