Working environment in the energy transition
Workshop: The Working Environment in the Energy Transition
The energy transition comes with a cost. There are downsides related to the working environment along the entire value chains: mining, refining, transport, manufacturing, project execution, operation, maintenance, use of fuels, repair, recycling, removal, deposition, etc., in wind, solar, hydrogen, green fuels, batteries, recycling/upcycling, CCS, and more. Some of these health risks are well known, while others are less known.
The purpose of this workshop is to highlight different kinds of health risks related to the energy transition, to identify some good practices for risk management, and to identify where more knowledge is needed.
The target group for the workshop includes the various parties involved in the energy transition, especially health and safety professionals and researchers.
