William Frank Christensen

William Frank Christensen is Deputy Director General in the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Energy. He heads the unit for Research and Technology. Between August 2015 and May 2018, he acted as Director General heading the Department for Climate, Industry and Technology. He returned to the Ministry in August 2009 from the position as Energy Counselor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy to the US in Washington DC. William Christensen has served in many different positions at the Ministry of Energy, covering both petroleum offshore issues, renewable energy and energy efficiency policies. 

William Christensen holds a master in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
