Martin S. Lundby was appointed to CEO of Hafslund Celsio on September 1, 2024. Previously, he was Deputy CEO of the Hafslund Group and CEO of Hafslund Vekst and has held several leadership positions within the Hafslund Group, including EVP Development and Growth, EVP Projects, as well as group CFO. Lundby also has experience as Head of Finance and Investor Relations and Business Developer at Hafslund ASA, and a background within transactions at EY. He holds a master's degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU.
Hafslund Celsio is Norway's largest supplier of district heating, with a concession to deliver heat in Oslo. The company is also the country's largest provider of waste incineration services. Hafslund Celsio is working to become the first in the world to implement full-scale carbon capture and storage at its waste incineration plant at Klemetsrud in Oslo, aiming to capture and permanently store 350,000 tonnes of CO2 annually.
