Kristin Karlstad

Kristin Karlstad is VP Sustainability at Hydro Aluminium where she is responsible for climate, environment and social sustainability in Hydro’s global aluminium business. Kristin started her career in the energy sector before moving to the power intensive industry where she has lead leadership positions on both Elkem and Hydro. In her current position she leads a team of sustainability experts, analysts and business developers responsible for sustainability strategy and implementation. Kristin holds a master’s degree in international political economy from the London School of Economics and serves as board member in the environmental technology space.
