– Specialization Social Anthropology
Social anthropology focuses on social and cultural aspects of human ways of life across the globe. The specialization has a comparative profile, with a strong emphasis on long-term ethnographic fieldwork.
At NTNU, research in the specialization focuses on four thematic areas: Organizational anthropology and sustainability; Global social inequality; Technology and the future; Migration, mobility and settlement.
