Geography is a broad discipline that covers perspectives on spatial patterns and processes from both social and natural sciences. The specialization has a clear international foundation.
Within the specialization, research is focusing on numerous societal challenges that are currently critical: Natural hazards and effects of climate change; Environment, resources management; Mobility, transnationalism, inequality; Innovation and regional change.
