Programme structure
The study consists of 180 credits and can only be taken full-time on campus.
1st year
End goal: Create static websites.
- The first year provides a common ground for all the students and you also work with other study programmes.
- You gain a broad understanding of various technologies, tools and methods for developing web solutions, including HTML, CSS and JS.
- You learn to prototype solutions and implement static websites.
2nd year
End goal: Create dynamic websites.
- You go deeper into web technology, development methods, web accessibility, usability and ethics.
- You learn a lot of programming and how to create dynamic web applications.
3rd year
End goal: Experiment with technologies, consolidate your learning and disseminate your work.
- You immerse yourself in self-selected topics.
- You write a bachelor's thesis, often in collaboration with a company.
- You consolidate what you have learned and communicate, convey and exhibit your project work.
Teaching and syllabus will be in Norwegian and English. This gives you
- access to up-to-date academic resources, which are more readily available in English
- improved English language skills through studying technical subjects in Englis
- opportunities for international collaboration and networking
- enhanced understanding of technical terms

Study tour
There may be a study tour abroad. Study tours must be partially financed by the student, with up to NOK 4,000 per tour. For study tours that are part of a course, there will be alternatives available for students who do not wish to participate. The maximum sum for voluntary study tours for the total study programme can be no more than NOK 12,000.
Student exchange
You can go on exchange abroad in the autumn semester of the last year (5th semester).
