• Reliability of Safety-Critical Systems, with focus on safety barriers or safety systems in general and safety-instrumented systems or electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems in specific
• Reliability Engineering, with focus on implement reliability in the development of new systems, considering product reliability, qualification of new technologies and the "systems engineering" approach
• Risk assessment, with focus on risk assessment of complex systems
• Risk-based maintainability planning, with focus on modeling, data analysis, and machine learning
• Maintenance management, with focus on key performance indicators and performance management of Industry 4.0
