SINTEF Energy Systems is a department at SINTEF Energy Research. The department performs contract research within the whole value chain of the power system: generation, storage, distribution and end-use of electricity. Renewable energy sources, electrification of transport, user flexibility and smart networks are important fields. The department has extensive experience in risk-based planning, operation, and maintenance of power systems, supporting energy authorities, system operators, and power and network companies.
