Nordig AI Lab crafts an advanced 3D visualization platform, to facilitate the representation of 3D buildings, roads and high-resolution terrains in Trondheim and Norway.

This platform employs an automated process for generating 3D building models from Airborne laser scanning (ALS) point clouds, provided by our member, the mapping authority of Trondheim Municipality. 3D road and terrain models are produced using the national open data supported by the Norwegian Mapping Authority.

The platform's architecture is designed to accommodate seamless updates with the evolution of 3D city data & algorithms and applications. As a result, future iterations will continue to introduce more and better data of 3D urban models, maintaining the platform's competitiveness and prowess and practicality.
