The Welcome Reception will be held in the Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop Palace.
Nidaros cathedral is the world`s northernmost medieval cathedral and Norway`s national sanctuary. The Cathedral is the grave church of St Olav, the patron Saint of Norway. In addition, it is now one of Europe`s historical pilgrim destinations.
The work on the Archbishop Palace began in the second half of the 12th century and it is today one of the best preserved buildings of its kind in Europe. The building has been the residence of the most powerful men in Norway and a military installation.
We start the evening with an organ concert in our beautiful Cathedral. After the concert, we walk to the Archbishop palace for the Welcome Reception.

Description: Transportation by bus to Bymarka recreational area ( 15 minutes). We hike to the cabin, Grønlia, a popular excursion for locals with a nice view. At Grønlia traditional Norwegian waffles and coffee will be served.
Capacity: Minimum 20 pax, max 120
Trip length (walking): approx. 8 km (dirt road)
Clothing: Walking/hiking shoes suitable for outdoors and a bit muddy if rain. Outdoor jacket (waterproof if raining).
Unesco World Heritage Site - Røros

Description: Røros is one of the oldest towns of wooden buildings in Europe and is located on a gently sloping plateau 628 metres above sea level. The city was founded in 1644 when the first copper ore was found in the area, and over the years, Røros became one of the most important mining towns in Norway.
Price includes transport, sightseeing of Røros and The Copper Works Museum, lunch (local traditional food).

Duration: approx. 10 hrs. (bus travel: 2,5 hrs each way)

Description: Sightseeing by boat with a guided visit to Munkholmen. Munkholmen an islet in the Trondheim fjord located about one nautical mile north of Trondheim city. It has a history dating back to the Viking era.
