Dr. Richard Griffiths
Dr. Richard Griffiths is a consultant anaesthetist at Peterborough & Stamford Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust (UK) with a passion for older people’s healthcare. Richard has been a pioneer in developing safe anesthesia to hip fracture patients. He founded the Hip Fracture Perioperative Network and is Council Member of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland. He is working with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) developing new guidelines, and still does clinical work including hip fracture

Dr. Hannah Seymour
Dr. Hannah Seymour is a consultant geriatrician and Medical Director at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, Australia. She has a passion for improving care for older people and has held a number of leadership positions within Health in Western Australia. She currently cares for older people admitted with acute fractures in partnership with the Orthopaedic Department.

Dr. Rohit Arora
Associate Professor dr. med. Rohit Arora is Interim Clinical Director at the University Hospital for Trauma Surgery in Innsbruck. He is a specialist in orthopaedic, trauma and hand surgery. Dr Arora became a member of AO Trauma National and International faculty in 2010. Since 2013 he has been a national delegate of the Austrian Society of Hand Surgery for FESSH.
He has numerous publications in the field of hand surgery, with special interest in how to treat distal radius fractures.

Dr. Robert LaPrade
Robert F. LaPrade MD, PhD is a world known complex orthopaedic knee and sports medicine surgeon who practices at Twin Cities Orthopedics in Edina and Eagan, Minnesota. He has published more than 475 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, 100 book chapters, and has given over 1000 professional presentations, symposia, and instructional course lectures. He and his team have won several scientific awards, including OREF Kappa Delta Award, considered the "Nobel Prize of Orthopedics". Dr. LaPrade is recognized internationally as an outstanding mentor and teacher and has mentored international fellows from all continents.

Dr. Carsten Perka
Dr. Carsten Perka is Professor of Orthopaedic surgery and the surgeon-in-chief and Chairman of the center for musculoskeletal Surgery, Charité, University Hospital Berlin. He is also the current president of the German Society for Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Perka is a renowned scientist with various research interests within the field of hip and knee arthroplasty, both for primary and revision surgery.

Dr Jose A. Morcuende MD PhD is Professor at the University of Iowa USA, where the Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment was developed. Dr. Javad Parvizi
Javad Parvizi is a professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and the director of Clinical Research at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia. He was chairman of the International Consensus Meeting on orthopaedic infections in 2013 and 2018. Parvizi has had a pivotal role in defining the contemporary criteria of prosthetic joint infection.

Dr. Anders Ekelund
Dr. Anders Ekelund performs all types of shoulder surgery, open and arthroscopically, and get referrals from all over Sweden. Main focus is on shoulder arthroplasties and fractures and he is a member of the design team for the development of Delta Xtend reverse arthroplasty. He works at St Göran Hospital in Stockholm, one of the largest units for upper extremity surgery in Sweden.
Besides numerous publications he is involved in the peer review process for J Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, Acta Orthopaedic Scand, Shoulder & Elbow and is on the Editorial board for Shoulder &Elbow. He is also a member of the executive committee and chairman of the membership committee in the European Shoulder and Elbow Society (SECEC)
He has organized and chaired several shoulder courses in Sweden and internationally, he actively participate in different educational meetings regarding shoulder problems and shoulder surgery. He often has international guests attending his clinic to learn about shoulder surgery.

Dr. Frede Frihagen is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Oslo University Hospital Ullevål (Norway). Frede has the last decade been a leading researcher on hip fractures with several publications on surgical treatment. Frede has placed secondary fracture prevention and orthogeriatric care on the orthopaedic agenda in Norway. He is president of the Fragility Fracture Network Norway

Dr. Kristina Åkesson
Dr. Kristina Åkesson is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon and professor of Orthopaedics at Skane University Hospital Malmö and Lund University, Sweden where she serves as deputy dean at the Faculty of Medicine. Kristina is a world class researcher on osteoporosis with focus on fracture risk and protective factors. She is member of the International Osteoporosis Foundation committee of scientific advisors chairing the IOF working-group on fractures and she has been co-chair of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Evidence-based Health Care in Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Dr. Lars Engebretsen
Lars Engebretsen is currently the Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Oslo University Clinic and Head of Medical Sciences in the International Olympic Committee. He has been the IOC representative on the WADA HMR committee for the last 4 years. Professor Engebretsen has published over 450 articles and book chapters, with a citation index (H-index) of 56. He is among the world’s most productive in clinical, epidemiological and basic science research in the areas of general sports medicine, knee ligaments, cartilage and prevention of sports injuries and illnesses. He was inducted into the AOSSM Hall of Fame in July 2015 and became an ESSKA Honorary member in 2016 and ISAKOS Honorary member in 2017. He received the Nordic Prize in Medicine in 2016.

Teppo Järvinen is a clinical professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University of Helsinki and a Chief Surgeon at the Helsinki University Central Hospital.
