Master's programmes in English
There are three types of English master's degrees offered at NTNU:
International Master's
International master's degrees are programmes taught entirely in English where the student studies for two years at NTNU.
Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Master's
A programme where the student takes part of his or her studies at NTNU and part of his or her studies at other partner institutions and is awarded a joint or double degree at the completion of the programme.
Joint Nordic Master's
A programme where the student takes part of his or her studies at NTNU and part of his or her studies at a Nordic partner institution and is awarded a joint or double degree at the completion of the programme.

Joint Nordic Master's Programmes give you the opportunity to study at two of the five leading technical universities in the Nordic countries (Nordic Five Tech), spending one year at each. You graduate with a double master’s degree from the two universities. NTNU charges no tuition fees, but partner universities might.

An Erasmus Mundus degree, is a prestigious study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of universities. Scholarships are awarded to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds. NTNU charges no tuition fees, but partner universities might.
