My name is Svante Prado. I am an associate professor in economic history at Unit for Economic History, Department of Economy and Society, School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg. My research spans three different fields: first, wages and labour markets in Sweden across the nineteenth and twentieth century; second: comparative levels of labour productivity since 1870; and third, Swedish income distribution between 1860 and 1970. My teaching is focused on environmental history and modern economic growth.
