Master in Real Estate and Facilities Management
The Master in Real Estate and Facilities Management is a professional study program that provides a broad skills base in the development and management of property. Tuition is full time over two years, with a final thesis during the last semester. The program is aimed at applicants with bachelor's degree in engineering (civil and building design), finance and administration, facility management and real estate.
Students graduate with the academic degree: Master of Real Estate and Facilities Management. Architectural and construction engineering students at NTNU can also choose this as a separate study integrated into their educational program.
The main focus of the discipline is the management, operation, service, maintenance and development of building, property and infrastructure. The field includes both organisational, technical and economic conditions. The emphasis on interdisciplinary work, totality and lifetime perspective education associated with the processing and development of existing urban areas, and existing buildings.
Both public and private actors have a great need for expertise in real estate development and management.
