Highlighted purpose of the INDEE+ project is to train young researchers/students, vendors, and local service people in India on heating and cooling systems working with CO2. INDEE+ Indian partner institute will implement CO2 system for training purpose at laboratories of their institutes. Three basic CO2 refrigeration heat pump condensing units were already shipped from Norway to India. Some modifications and re-configuration for applications are ongoing, and the units will be operational soon.

As planned, workshops, webinars, and physical training sessions will be organized where candidates/participants can modify some operational parameters and monitor their overall impact on the system performance, illustrate and demonstrate how to startup and shutdown the system and its process, charging and discharging of refrigerant, inspect malfunctioning equipment, etc. Such activities will help and support knowledge transfer and skill development and will give confidence to industries and upcoming technocrats to take up more CO2 systems in India.
