WP4: Demonstrate CO2 refrigeration technology in India

Tasks

T4.1 Identification of demonstration sites:

• T4.1.A Commercial Refrigeration: First CO2 based supermarket in India (Lead: IISc Bangalore / SINTEF ER) in cooperation with the associated partner (METRO India)

• T4.1.B Chiller / Hot water heat pump: First implementation in Hotel in India (Lead: IIT Madras / NTNU) 

• T4.1.C Food process refrigeration: Integrate first CO2 refrigeration unit in fishing vessel / process plant (Lead: CIFT / SINTEF Ocean)

• T4.2 Define system specification and support tender process for 3 demo sites

• T4.3 Follow up manufacturing, commissioning, first year operation for 3 demo sites

• T4.4 Support for monitoring, data analysis and dissemination for 3 demo sites 

Deliverables

D4.1 Short description (size, required capacities) of the three selected demo sites: 

• Supermarket

• Hotel

• Fishing vessel

• D4.2 Detailed package layout for the three selected demo sites: supermarket, hotel and fishing vessel (Deliverable related to T4.2) 

• D4.3 Description of the follow-up of the manufacturing and commissioning procedures of the rack for the three selected demo sites: supermarket, hotel and fishing vessel (Deliverable related to T4.3)

• D4.4 Technical report including database with 12 months recorded data for each demo site: supermarket, hotel and fishing vessel (Deliverable related to T4.4)
