Call for Special Sessions
The 22nd European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design will focus on recent trends and advances in the areas of theory, design and implementation of circuit and systems. The program will include Special Sessions, aiming at complementing the regular program with emerging topics of interest to the circuit design community. The organizing committee welcomes submissions on topics aligned or adjacent to interest of the IEEE CAS society and with a clear interest for persons active in the circuits and systems area. The first paper of each Special Session will provide an introduction to the field and will target a non-specialist audience.
Submission Requirements:
Prospective organizers of Special Sessions should submit a proposal indicating:
- Title of the session
- Rationale of the need for the Special Session, stressing on the novelty of the topic and its multidisciplinary aspects (if any)
- Short biographies of the session organizers
- List of five contributed papers, including: titles, authors, contact information of the corresponding author, and a short abstract of each contribution
- Preliminary full version of the overview paper
The papers of accepted special sessions shall go through the same review process as regular papers. The special session organizer will, together with the special session chairs, be in charge of the review of these papers.

Important Dates:
- Deadline for special session proposals: 12th February 2015
- Notification of acceptance special sessions: 26th February 2015
- Deadline for regular paper submission: 22nd March 2015
- Notification of paper acceptance: 1st June 2015
Conference Proceedings:
Conference proceedings will be available to conference participants on USB flash drive and will be listed on IEEE Xplore.
The Conference Venue:
Trondheim has been a center for technological development and education for 250 years. The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway's premier university for higher education in technology and the natural sciences with more than 23 000 students. A large number of ICT companies are located in the region, which also offers a broad variety of cultural and outdoor activities. ECCTD2015 will be localized at Scandic Nidelven Hotel along the river in the city centre.
