Here, we use Microsoft PowerPoint slides with audio recordings to create short video presentations.

How to create ePoster/video

Becoming an ePoster Presenter is easy and consists of two simple steps:

  1. You create a 5-slide presentation and add audio commentaries in Microsoft PowerPoint with the help of our ePosters manual. Submit your PowerPoint, and we will take it from there!
  2. We transform your PowerPoint to a short video, upload it to a secure video portal (Panopto), and embed it as an ePoster in the Digital Poster Session on CERG’s webpage. Signed, sealed and delivered!

Submission

Deadline for submitting your PowerPoint presentation is December 11, 2020, 12:00 UTC.

Simply send an email labeled “Send in ePoster”, to Emma Ingeström. Attach the PowerPoint presentation and provide the following information:

  • Your name, academic or work title, affiliation, city and country
  • The title of your ePoster, and which slide you want to showcase on the Digital Poster Session.

We will share the owner rights of the ePoster, i.e. the video in Panopto and the email address submitting the PowerPoint presentation. Note that your email address remains confidential for viewers, unless you include it in the PowerPoint presentation.

Requirements

All ePoster Presenters have to register for Exercise in Medicine – the Webinar Edition December 16.

Two to three ePosters will be highlighted in a data blitz summarizing the best of the Digital Poster Session, to which the ePoster Presenters are invited to answer questions from our webinar attendees. Thus, for now we require that all ePoster Poster Presenters are available at 18:50–19:10 UTC December 16.

See the ePosters manual (link provided soon) for formatting requirements for the PowerPoint presentation, step-by-step instructions on adding audio commentaries, and information on how your ePoster is uploaded, shared and stored in Panopto.
