LivaNova, a leading global medical technology company with 3,600 employees in Europe, is a world leader in the development of medical technologies for cardiac surgery, a pioneer in neuromodulation devices for epilepsy and offers innovative therapies for cardiac rhythm dysfunctions. Active with R&D in therapeutic innovative solutions in the field of active cardiac implanted devices LivaNova will contribute in the areas of RF communication between a leadless pacemaker via BTLE or via the new /LP-AMI (2.4835-2.5 GHz) band or MICS band and a patient monitor. Dr. Amara and Dr. Feuerstein will be main supervisors for ESR4-5, where the team Mr. Boutaud, and Mrs. Amblard will provide a rich co-supervision team and will contribute to WP3 and WP4 with Mr. Dal Molin and Dr. Makdissi. Both ESRs will have university co-supervisors from partner universities. Mr. Dal Molin will lead WP3 on System Integration.
