Building blocks for enhanced societal responsibility
Building blocks for enhanced societal responsibility
Building blocks for enhanced societal responsibility will work towards enhancing societal responsibility, sustainability and theoretical renewal through cross-disciplinary learning.
Our aim is to advance the conceptual development and implementation of societal responsibility, encompassing RRI and CSR as well as perspectives from the arts and humanities. We wish to do this by engaging all actors involved in the quadruple helix of innovation.
We have established a dedicated working group of excellent researchers working within the field of societal responsibility (RRI & CSR) in Norway. Part of our core team are Christian Wittrock (OsloMet), Anne I. Myhr (NORCE), Svein Ole Borgen (OsloMet), Harald Throne-Holst (OsloMet) and Tim Dassler (UiT The Arctic University of Norway).
In this working group, we will develop a sustainability model for AFINO and facilitate an inclusive discussion with all AFINO partners to determine the optimal organizational model and mandate for a continuation of AFINO.
Our goal is to develop a set of recommendations for how to integrate RRI and CSR in organizations in different sectors.
An overview of our main tasks:
- Develop an agenda for the advancement of societal responsibility in Norway (including annual milestones)
- Deliver a knowledge-mapping report describing how RRI and CSR practices have been employed in different sectors
- Deliver a knowledge-expansion report about new platforms for fostering RRI and CSR, including how to incorporate the arts and humanities
- Generate an AFINO sustainability model
- Come up with a set of recommendations for integrating RRI and CSR in organizations in different sectors
