About the programme

A candidature in the doctoral programme for Energy and Process Engineering is typically 3 years of full-time study and research totalling 180 credits. Admission occurs on a continuous basis, and typically in conjunction with an open fellowship position.

The topic of one's doctoral thesis will normally be tied to R&D projects that are being carried out in the department or within the associated research groups. The particulars of the thesis and research plan will be developed in concert with the candidate, their advisor, and the host department.
