Grants are given from NTNU, the Research Council and the industry. The faculty and the departments can provide additional information about financing of the PhD programme.  In order to be admitted to the PhD programme, one must normally have been awarded a doctoral grant, or be able to document satisfactory financing of the costs of a three-year full-time study.  There are no fixed application deadlines. Open PhD positions will be announced on the NTNUs home page and through the media.
