Welcome to start of studies at NTNU 2024
All students are encouraged to take part in the preparatory course in programming. (Csound) For students without formal education in programming, this course is mandatory.
You are automatically registered for this. The course schedule is Monday 5. through Friday 9. August at room F343 in Fjordgata 1.
The sessions will start at 9 am every day and last until 3pm.
Please bring your own laptop.
Monday 12 August
Matriculation ceremony – welcome ceremony for new students at NTNU
Time: 14.00
Location: Behind the main building
You will participate in this formal ceremony together with your buddy group. The ceremony will include musical performances, speeches and you will get a glimpse into life as a student at NTNU.
Wednesday 14 August
Meeting for new masterstudents at 09:15 in room F343
Afterwards you are invited to listen to a concert with the new bachelor students in Kammersalen at 12:00
Thursday 15 August - digital meeting for all students at IMU

Join Buddy week kick-off hosted by Studentersamfundet and get a social start of studies. All new students can participate

During the Orientation week, you will get to know NTNU, your city and other international students in fun ways, and learn everything you need to know to get started in Norway and settle in at NTNU. The Office of International Relations arranges the orientation week.
