Competence as a teacher

Many of our former students have found work as teachers and lecturers. Students looking to be qualified for teaching in the Norwegian school system, are able to apply to a 1-year course in Practical-Pedagogical training (PPU), once they have obtained their master’s in Creative Music Technology. More and more students within the music education offered by the Norwegian municipalities (Kulturskolen) and in upper secondary school/high school, are choosing laptop as their preferred instrument and this creates a demand for qualified teachers. Our master’s, combined with teacher training, will give you a professional advantage in this particular field.

For prospective international students, we encourage you to look into the possibility of similar teacher training, as this may vary around the world, should teaching be one of your interests.
