Course content
The student will undertake an internship project in the firm or the organization. As part of the project, the student must complete an assignment within the area of interest of the firm or organization and it has to fulfill the academic requirements of a bachelor's level program. The assignment is to be an academic paper which has to refer to or include parts of the internship project.
Learning outcome
The learning objectives are to develop and build the personal, academic and professional capacities of the student by allowing him or her to research and manage an individual work project within a Norwegian or international company or organization and as a part of the student's bachelor at NTNU.
Learning methods and activities
The student will have supervision both from NTNU and the firm/organization. A compulsory written assignment within the firm's/organization's areas of interest and which is also related to the internship project, must be submitted to the NTNU supervisor by the 15th of December/ 15th of June (scope: 15-20 pages, no greater scope than a bachelor thesis, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing). The assignment will be given a pass/fail grade by the NTNU supervisor. This course is restricted to students accepted to the bachelor's program in economics.

Students who wish to include an internship in their study plan should contact the department for advice. The department registers students for students that get their intersnhip apprioved as part of their plan.
