About the course

Course content

Students will design, implement and evaluate their own teaching plans in physical education or sports based on competence goals and interdisciplinary topics in the curriculum.

Learning outcome

Knowledge - The student will have:

  • practical and theoretical insight into evaluation work.
  • insight into the challenges associated with formative assessment of students in physical education and sports
  • insight into the use of different methods in connection with formative assessment and evaluation of teaching

Skills - Students will be able to:

  • plan and carry out teaching programs in physical education or sports
  • facilitate formative assessment of students in physical education and sports
  • design tools for evaluation, and then evaluate your own teaching.
  • discuss how their own teaching can be developed or changed to meet the students' different requirements.

Learning methods and activities

2 hours of lectures and group discussion every week. Certain weeks are reserved for writing the assignment/paper. Form of assessment: paper.

In the assignment, the student shall plan, implement and discuss current teaching plans in physical education or sports subjects based on theoretical perspectives.
