Do you want a head start into working life? 

Master students at the Department of International Business have several opportunities to work closely with regional industry. One of these is to take a credit bearing internship worth 15 ECTS in your third semester. 

An internship gives you a great opportunity to gain work experience and strengthen your future career prosepects. You can use what you have learned during your courses, while building a network in the industry. 

Internships are 14 weeks long starting in August until November. You'll spend two days a week working with local businesses, receiving guidance and feedback from the business and NTNU to enable you to get the most from your learning. You might even find your dream job!

Why do an internship? 

Work experience 
An internship gives you a head start when you apply for jobs, helping your CV stand out from the crowds. It will also help you make informed career choices and develop the confidence to pursue them.  

Networking
An internship gives you the chance to learn about a local business, get to know the people who work there and gain new insight into an industry. In the Sunnmøre region businesses have strong established networks with each other, so you can grow yours. 

Personal growth
Throughout the internship you will be closely followed by your supervisor from NTNU, who will help you focus on reflection, as well as your career development and personal development. You will also take part in two seminars during the semester where you will get to share experiences with other internship students.
