State visit from Netherlands

On Thursday 11 November, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon will accompany His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima to Trondheim for a programme dedicated to collaboration in technology, research and business.

Sustainable Ocean

The day will begin at Brattørkaia in Trondheim’s port area, where Sintef and NTNU will present the opportunities offered by the oceans.

14.00-15.45

The North Sea as a platform for the clean energy transition

In the afternoon, the royal party will visit the university’s Gløshaugen campus. Representatives from Norway and the Netherlands will meet to discuss collaboration in the energy transition, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen.

There will be rooms available for the press at NTNU, Gløshaugen. We offer workingspaces, rooms for intervjues and refreshments.
