Electronics Cleanroom
Electronics and payload design lab
This is our main resource; in this lab all our payloads are developed and maintained. The lab consist of a ESD-controlled area with limited access.
A PhD-student working with the HYPSO-1 FlatSat.
For work requiring a cleaner environment, such as assembly of optical instruments, we use a laminar flow bench.
A master student assembling the HYPSO-2 main instruments in the flow-bench.
HYPSO-2 engineering-qualification-model (EQM) under test.
The lab is located next door to our concurrent-engineering space, where bachelor- masters- and PhD-students all are located in the same room. We focus on strong multi-diciplinary collaboration in a informal and friendly working environment where students from many backgrounds and diciplincs meet and work together.
