Registration and practical matters

Registration

The conference is open to all members of NRSN, i.e., PhD candidates and medical research program ("forskerlinje") students who are working in the field of neuroscience and are affiliated with a Norwegian institution. Additionally, non-member PhD students, master students, and postdocs whose supervisor has registered NRSN members in their lab are also welcome to attend the conference free of charge. If you are a non-member PhD student who is unable to register as a member but is highly eager to attend the conference, we will allow participation for a small fee. Please contact us for more information.

If you are not yet a member, your supervisor can register you for membership here. There is no conference fee, and NRSN covers full-board accommodation and travel (up to 2000 NOK per person) of all participants.

Neuroscience is broadly defined and the conference aims at being equally relevant for students working within all subfields of neuroscience.

Register for the conference!

Registration deadline: 10th of August

Once you are registered, remember to submit your abstract by 15th of August.

Practical matters

Accommodation

NRSN covers accomodation for all participants at Jegtvolden Fjordhotell. You will be accommodated mainly in double rooms, and you can indicate any preferred room mates in the registration form. If you have a good reason for needing a single room, please also indicate this in the form.

Jegtvolden Fjordhotell is situated in scenic lakeside surroundings in Inderøy, just 90 minutes north of Værnes airport in Trondheim. The municipality of Inderøy in the middle of Norway has one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in the country, which together with the sea and special light has inspired artists and authors for hundreds of years.

Travel

NRSN covers all travel costs up to 2000 NOK per participant. You will need to book your own flight/train tickets to Trondheim and we will reimuburse you after the event. Please book your tickets as early as you can to ensure that the costs are as low as possible.

NRSN also takes care of bus transportation for all to and from Trondheim airport or Trondheim city. Information about this will come closer to the event.
