Travel
Trondheim has an international airport (TRD) with direct flights to Copenhagen, Oslo, Amsterdam, Berlin, Stockholm, Krakow, Gdansk, Nice, Barcelona, Tallinn, Riga and London Gatwick. The airport is connected to the downtown area by a frequently running bus service (from 4am until midnight, every 20 minutes) or taxi (takes appr. 30 minutes, around 800 NOK one way).
The airport bus (free wifi onboard) leaves from outside the arrivals hall of Trondheim airport. Bus tickets cost one way 130 NOK and can be bought in the bus using a credit card or cash. The bus stops at various places in the center of town with the driver announcing the hotels close to each bus stop in English.
Within town most conference-relevant places are in walking distance (see map). Alternatively a bus service is available, serving most parts of town frequently. Bus lines 5 or 22 leave from the center of town and stop just outside the conference site (Bus stop: Gløshaugen Syd).
