Abstracts submission is closed

The abstract submission portal was closed after the extend the deadline January 31. We received a high number of abstracts, which confirms a great interest in Europacat 2025.

The link to the submission portal is now removed, and the review process is underway.

Review

The submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed under the category of single-blind through the organizing and scientific committees. The review criteria are based on scope of the congress, quality and depth of the scientific results, methodology, clarity, as well as the impact. Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 2025. If your abstract has been accepted, you will find more information under the Presenter instructions and Poster instructions sections (coming). The accepted abstracts will be distributed to the Congress participants through the Congress Attendee App and published and distributed to all participants in a Congress Abstract e-Book after the congress, available from a protected link on the website.

Keynote lecture invitations based on submitted abstracts

Please take note that in order to pick up the most recent catalysis research trends and acknowledge outstanding work submitted to EuropaCat 2025, two of the Keynote lecture invitations are reserved for submissions to standard presentations. The selection of whom to invite will be based on the review process, from which abstracts of exceptionally high quality will be nominated. To ensure a representative range of topics, the general program profile will also be taken into account to some extent. Accepting to extend the presentation to double length is of course voluntary.
