• Do not use the lab if you have any kind of respiratory symptoms such as a cough or sore throat, fever, or if you are ill in any other way, suspect that you might be infected with COVID-19, or are in quarantine.Public transportation is not recommended for access to work, but if you depend on public transport, travel outside of rush hours.
• Register all of your visits to the lab using the QR code. This is compulsory. The QR code is for contact tracing in the event we have someone test positive for COVID-19.
• Book lab activity in advance on the MR lab excel sheet - try not to overlap timeslots in the same area as someone else. Contact mrcore@mh.ntnu.no if you need access.
• Book equipment in advance on iLab.
• Keep at least 1 metre distance between other people in the lab.
• Use a face mask if you must work in close proximity with someone else, or whenever you cannot maintain a minimum of 1 metre distance.
• Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water.
• Clean the rooms and equipment you have used as the last thing you do before you leave the MR Lab every day.
  • All worktops, surfaces and equipment that has been used must be tidied, cleaned with soap and water and dried.
  • When they are dry, spray with ethanol and leave to dry.
  • Keyboards, computer mice, and other electrical equipment you have touched must be unplugged, wiped with a damp paper towel with soap and water and left to dry. Use the disinfectant wipes/spray located by the workstations. Don’t spray directly onto the keyboard/mouse – use a paper towel.
  • If you are unsure whether the equipment is suited for this cleaning procedure, contact the MR Core before you use it. 
  • Change your lab coat roughly every 2 weeks – place the dirty coat in the laundry bin in the lab and take a new clean one from the pile.
