MR Core Facility

MR Core Facility offers the latest technology in MR-scanning and MS imaging as well as technical support and expertise. We support research needs for in vivo MR imaging and spectroscopy in disease models in small animals, as well as MR and MS metabolomics of human tissue samples and body fluids and ex vivo high resolution NMR spectroscopy. In addition to providing access to MR instruments, we can facilitate in areas such as experimental planning, MR-sequence optimization, training for data acquisition and post-processing. We also provide access to MR imaging and spectroscopy of patients and healthy volunteers.

The facility offer services to national and international researchers from universities, hospitals, industry and others.

We provide access to:

  • Clinical MR scanner: 3T Siemens Skyra
  • Preclinical MR/PET scanner: 7T Bruker Biospec with PET insert (small animals)
  • 600 MHz NMR spectrometer with SampleJet
  • 600 MHz NMR spectrometer with MAS probe head
  • RapifleX MALDI Tissuetyper (MALDI-TOF/TOF)
  • GCMS Agilent 7890A GC coupled with 5975 series MSD
